Nick Brings CCI Animated Series to New Territories

TORONTO, November 1: Nickelodeon International has acquired
CCI Entertainment’s children’s animated series Frankenstein’s Cat for broadcast on its feeds in Spain, Benelux,
Southeast Asia, Australia, Latin America and Israel.

Other broadcasters of the series include CBBC, ABC
Australia, France 3 and Cartoon France.

Frankenstein’s Cat is
a comedy series for the 6- to 11-year-old set, featuring the exploits of the
frantic feline Nine and his best friend Lottie as they outwit, outrun and outdo
the citizens of Oddsburg. Based on the book by Curtis Jobling, the 2-D
digitally-animated series is produced by Manchester-based puppet masters
Mackinnon & Saunders, known for Tim Burton’s The Corpse Bride and Bob the Builder, and Paris-based Kayenta Production.

programming at Nickelodeon International. "Nine and Lottie have a
universal likeability that will appeal to kids around the world and we’re really
looking forward to introducing the show to our Nickelodeon audiences."
