New Series Head to Treehouse

TORONTO, February 14: Corus
Entertainment’s preschool network Treehouse has added six new shows to its
lineup, including In the Night Garden, Yo Gabba Gabba! and The Koala Brothers.

Beginning February 25, the
channel will air In the Night Garden on weekdays and Sundays at 7:30 p.m. In the Night Garden is about a magical, picture-book place that exists
between waking and sleeping in a child’s imagination.

Also making their Canadian
debut that day are Fifi and the Flowertots, which will air weekdays at 6:20 p.m.; Yo Gabba
Gabba!
, airing Monday, Wednesday
and Friday of every week at 4:30 p.m.; and The Koala Brothers, which is set to air each Monday, Wednesday and
Friday as well, in a 5:30 p.m. time slot. My Friend Rabbit will make its world premiere on February 25 on
Treehouse, and will air every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9 a.m.

The following day, the
Nickelodeon series Ni Hao Kai Lan will
make its Canadian debut, and will continue to air Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7
p.m. The series follows a 5-year-old Chinese-American girl and introducs
viewers to Chinese culture through a series of fun adventures.

“Parents can count on
Treehouse to bring kids the shows and characters they want," said Scott
Dyer, the executive VP and general manager of Corus Kids and Nelvana Studios.
"In the Night Garden is a
huge hit in the U.K. and we've got it for Canadian kids; the rock attitude of Yo
Gabba Gabba!
is going to make it a
must-watch for both parents and young ones—plus so much more from great
producers around the world and here at home."
