New Sales Manager at TV-Loonland

MUNICH/LONDON: TV-Loonland has appointed Barbora Sopkova as sales manager for TV and home-entertainment distribution, based out of the London office and taking up her new post with immediate effect.

Sopkova joins TV-Loonland from Classic Media (formerly Entertainment Rights), where she held the position of territory manager for Central and Eastern Europe. She will report to TV-Loonland’s head of international distribution, Justine Bannister, and will be responsible for driving TV and home-entertainment sales within Central and Eastern Europe and Russia, Benelux, Greece, Turkey, North Africa, the Middle East and Asia (excluding Japan). Additional responsibilities include working together with TV-Loonland’s head of licensing and merchandising, Bernd Conrad, on the placement of licensing agents for the key brands in those territories.
