New Mr. Magoo Film from ER

LONDON, October 10: Entertainment Rights (ER) will be
presenting a new feature-length animated film at MIPCOM: Kung Fu Magoo, featuring the voices of The Suite Life of
Zack and Cody
’s Cole and Dylan Sprouse.

Produced in conjunction with Mexico’s Anima Estudios, Motion
Toons and ER’s Classic Media, Kung Fu Magoo
is the latest installment in the adventures of Quincy Magoo, better known as
Mr. Magoo. The 80-minute film features Magoo and his 12-year-old nephew Justin
as they dodge giant robotic spiders, ninjas on jet skis, and Tan-Gu’s mutant
“Beasteens” (half animal, half teenage girl) in the run-up to the Evil-lympics.

Kung Fu Magoo is set
for theatrical release in Mexico in 2009. Entertainment Rights in North America
will release the feature as a direct-to-video through its distribution partner,
Genius Products.

Doug Schwalbe, the executive VP of sales and co-production
for Entertainment Rights North America, commented: “We are thrilled to be
working on such a well-known property with the creative team at Anima Estudios,
Mexico’s leading animation studio. We have no doubt that the collaboration will
prove to be successful in Mexico and around the world. With such terrific
talent on board and clever story lines, this production will re-introduce Magoo
to a new generation of fans.”

Fernando de Fuentes, the president of Anima Estudios, added,
