New Michael Palin Travelogue Set to Air on BBC One

LONDON, October 28: To
celebrate the 20th anniversary of his first travelogue, Around the World in 80 Days, Michael Palin
has set off on a new adventure in Eighty
Days Revisited
, which will air as a one-hour special on BBC One later this
year.

In Around the World in 80 Days, Palin and
his team formed a unique relationship with their Indian sailing crew. In his
new adventure, Palin sets out in search of this crew,
traveling to Dubai, Mumbai and a small town on the Indian Ocean from where he
believes many of the crew hailed.

Palin’s career includes his work with Monty Python's Flying Circus and Ripping Yarns, in addition to several movies, including A Fish Called Wanda. His other travel
series include Himalaya with Michael Palin, Pole to
Pole
, Full Circle, Hemingway Adventure and Sahara.
