New Hidden Camera Comedy Series to Premiere on NBC

BURBANK, April 3: The new 6×1-hour hidden-camera comedy
series The Real Wedding Crashers,
inspired by the hit New Line feature film Wedding Crashers, is set to premiere on NBC on Monday, April 23, at
10 p.m., following the return of Heroes.

Produced by Ashton Kutcher and Jason Goldberg's Katalyst Films and
Television—the producers of MTV’s Punk’d—and New Line Television, the series follows brides-
and grooms-to-be that team up with five “crashers” to create a memorable
wedding weekend. The couple assists the “crashers”—quick-thinking improv
performers who go undercover as wedding staff and guests—in taking on
outrageous characters and personalities to pull off outlandish pranks. The
series will be executive produced by Ashton Kutcher (Punk’d, Beauty
and the Geek
) and Jason Goldberg from
Katalyst, as well as Karey Burke (Miss Guided), Rich Meehan (Big Brother), Jon Kroll (The Amazing Race, Amish in the City) and Jim Rosenthal (Blade: The Series).
