New Global Executive Appointments for FIC Content Sales

LONDON: FOX International Channels (FIC) Content Sales is beefing up its global team, announcing new appointments in Singapore, Australia, Turkey and the U.K.

Based in Singapore, Julius Toh will take up the newly created senior role of VP of content sales for the Asia Pacific. Toh, who has held senior posts at both MediaCorp and Asia City Media Group, will be responsible for all content sales in Asia, including scripted and unscripted content, along with format sales. He will lead the existing team of sales executives across Asia.

Annette Kollek joins the company from BBC Worldwide as director of content sales for Australia and New Zealand, a newly created position. She will work out of Sydney, where she will be responsible for content sales locally in market.

Meanwhile, Melis Hamamcioğlu has been named director of content sales for Turkey, the Middle East and North Africa, headquartered in Istanbul. Hamamcioğlu will be instrumental in finding sale and format opportunities for Turkish dramas, as well as representing the full content offering across her markets.

All three execs will join the global sales team led by Prentiss Fraser, the senior VP and global head of content sales based in the U.K., who said, “FOX International Content Sales prides itself on having global reach with local resources. Separately, Rachel Lane joins the FIC Content Sales team in the U.K. as the director of marketing, reporting to Connie Hodson, the VP of content and marketing. Lane will oversee FIC Content Sales’ global marketing activities.

Additionally, Elodie Arduin-Nuño has been tapped to fill the newly created post of senior legal counsel, based in the U.K. and reporting to Mitzi Berberi, the VP and deputy general counsel for FIC Europe and Africa. Arduin-Nuño joins the company from Disney Media Distribution, where she oversaw the distribution of Disney, ABC, Pixar, Marvel and Lucasfilm feature films, series and other content.
