New Factual Head for Splash Media

LONDON: Michael Massey has joined Splash Media, founded by Jane Lush and Fenia Vardanis, to head up its factual division. 

Massey previously worked with Splash Media as series editor on ITV1’s Piers Morgan On…Sandbanks and the follow-up series, Piers Morgan On…Dubai/Monte Carlo/Hollywood. Massey has also worked on and produced major series such as Three Men in a Boat (BBC Two) and The Greatest Cities of the World (ITV1). He created Heston Blumenthal’s Perfection (BBC Two) and his other producing credits include Vets in the Wild (BBC One/Animal Planet), BBC One’s Holiday and the Born to be Wild series. Additionally, Massey has produced/directed Animal Extractors, Animal Cops NY and Phoenix Animal Heroes, among other U.S. credits.
