New Factual-Entertainment Pilot in the Works for BBC One

LONDON, November 20: BBC
Daytime has commissioned Lion Television to produce a one-hour pilot for House Swap, a new factual-entertainment
format for BBC One.

The program will feature a
new twist on property formats by matching up two home owners who are desperate
to move but unable to sell in the difficult British housing market. Each owner
will try living in the other's property in a bid to see if they would like to
swap their own home. House Swap will
be executive produced by Hilary Rosen and produced by Jane Hosking for Lion
Television.

Rosen
commented, "Property owners are
going through a difficult time at the moment and this vibrant new format will
get audiences excited once again about their investments."

Liam
Keelan, the controller of BBC Daytime,
added, "BBC Daytime continues to reflect the changing property market and
brings another innovative new format to the daytime audience."
