New Execs Added to MPA Summit Lineup

HONG KONG: Lionsgate’s Jon Feltheimer and DISH Network’s Charlie Ergen, plus media regulators from India and Indonesia, are among the latest additions to the speaker lineup at the Asia Pacific Pay-TV Operators Summit (APOS), organized by Media Partners Asia.

APOS is slated to take place May 11 to 13 at the Ayana Resort in Bali. Also new to the lineup are Tifatul Sembiring, Indonesia’s Minister of the Ministry of Communications & Informatio; Ambika Soni, Minister of India’s Ministry of Information & Broadcasting; Abe Peled, chairman and CEO of NDS; Goh Seow Eng, the chief of SingTel’s Digital Home division; and Francois Moreau De Saint Martin, the CEO of Viaccess.

“We are proud to have secured leading market innovators and policy makers,” Vivek Couto, executive director of the MPA. “APOS 2011 is shaping up to be a great forum to discuss the key drivers of growth in Asia’s pay-TV and broadband industries over the next decade.”

The new additions join a slate that already includes FOXTEL’s Kim Williams, Astro’s Rohana Rozhan, DIRECTV Latin America’s Bruce Churchill, Tata Sky’s Harit Nagpal, MNC Group’s Hary Tanoesoedibjo, and FOX International Channels’ Hernan Lopez, among many others.
