New European Deals for ohm:tv’s Mobile Drama Series

COLOGNE, March 11: The Largardere Group in France has picked up the mobile, TV and Internet rights to ohm:tv’s made-for–mobile drama series My Story for its girl-skewing channel Filles TV.

Additionally, Austrian mobile operator Mobilkom has launched My Story on its Vodafone Live portal. Produced by the New Zealand production company The Gibson Group, My Story is a two-minute mystery drama series that follows a group of 18-year-old idealists— Clare, Kat, Vina and Isaac—who are fresh out of high school. Their friend Regan goes missing just before the end of the high school year. But now that summer’s over, they have to think about moving on, finding a place of their own and getting jobs.

Sebastian Burkhardt, the director of digital media at ohm:tv, commented: “My Story was the first exclusively made-for-mobile and cross-platform drama series made in New Zealand and following its success there, we are delighted that the series has been sold to France and Austria. Apart from its innovative cross-platform concept, the strength of My Story lies in the fact that it has been created to production values formerly only associated with TV and film.”
