New CEO at CTC Media

MOSCOW, June 24: Anton
Kudryashov has been appointed as the new CEO of Russia’s CTC Media, succeeding Alexander Rodnyansky, who will remain in his role as president of the
company.

Kudryashov’s appointment
is effective August 4. He was previously an interim CEO during the
restructuring of NTV-Plus, and is one of the founding partners of the
Moscow-based investment bank Renaissance Capital.

Rodnyansky, in addition to
serving as president, will join the board of directors and will continue to
actively participate in programming strategy, investor relations and content
acquisition and development. He has been with CTC since 2002 and became CEO in
2004, overseeing the company’s growth from a single-channel operation into a
publicly listed venture with three Russian networks, production capabilities
and broadcast outlets elsewhere in the region.

Commenting on his
appointment, Kudryashov said, "My previous experience as a senior
executive in a variety of businesses, together with my background as a media
entrepreneur, provide a solid foundation for managing CTC Media through the
growth and diversification of its business. CTC Media has a track record of
outstanding operational performance and I am confident it is well positioned to
continue to achieve strong financial growth and take advantage of the robust
television advertising markets in both Russia and the CIS."
