Netflix, MTV Networks in Streaming Deal

NEW YORK/LOS ANGELES: Several Nickelodeon shows and Comedy Central’s South Park have been added to the instant streaming service on the online movie rental platform Netflix, via a deal with MTV Networks.

Subscribers will be able to watch nine previous seasons of South Park, for a total of 139 episodes, on the Netflix website. Also of offer, from Nickelodeon, are seasons one and two of Blue’s Clues, Dora the Explorer and iCarly, season one of True Jackson, VP and season three of SpongeBob SquarePants, among others.

Netflix currently offers a range of MTV Networks properties on DVD and obtained its first digital license from the company last year to stream movies, documentaries and original programming from the Logo network.
