NBCU & Spain’s Antena 3 Enter Exclusive Pact for Films

MADRID: Antena 3 has signed a multi-year agreement with NBCUniversal International Television Distribution for the exclusive free-TV rights in Spain for films such as the recent hit Bridesmaids, as well as the upcoming The Man with Iron Fists.

The deal covers library, current and upcoming features. Among the highlight titles are the upcoming Safe House, starring Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds; Johnny English Reborn, featuring Roman Atkinson; Tower Heist, starring Eddie Murphy and Ben Stiller; The Change-Up, also featuring Ryan Reynolds, with Jason Bateman; The Thing, a precursor to the John Carpenter classic of the same name; and Battleship, starring Liam Neeson, Taylor Kitsch and Rihanna. Catalogue titles featured under the deal include franchises such as The Fast and the Furious, The Mummy and The Bourne Identity.
