NBCU Boosts International Production Team

LONDON,
November 5: NBC Universal has expanded its international television production
unit, led by Angela Bromstad, with the hiring of Yvonne Pilkington and Jeremy Miles.

Both
will report to Bromstad, the president of international television production
at NBC Universal International, beginning January 1.

As
VP of format sales for international TV production, Pilkington will be tasked
with maximizing opportunities for NBCU's format catalogue. She joins the
company from ALL3MEDIA International, where she is currently the acting
executive VP of international formats. She was previously with Eyeworks
Distribution, Touchdown Distribution and Action Time.

As
VP of business and legal affairs for international TV production, Miles will be
responsible for issues in relation to production and commercial partnerships,
acquisitions and regulatory matters. He was previously with the law firm Field
Fisher Waterhouse, prior to which he led legal and business affairs at Lion
Television.

The
appointments follow the recent acquisition of Carnival Film & TV in the
U.K. and are part of the company efforts in "extending the reach of NBC
Universal's global production ambitions and accelerating our international
growth," Bromstad said.
