NBC Ups Richard Rothstein

UNIVERSAL CITY, January 10: NBC Universal Television Studio
has promoted Richard Rothstein to senior VP of cable programming.

In his new position, Rothstein reports to Angela Bromstad,
the president of NBC Universal Television Studio. He was previously VP of cable
programming at the studio. He will continue to be responsible for overseeing
the development of NBC Universal Television Studio programs for NBC Universal’s
cable channels, including USA Network and SCI FI. Over the past two years, he
served as the studio’s programming executive on Battlestar Galactica and Eureka for SCI FI, and for USA Psych and The Starter Wife, a
new limited series starring Debra Messing.
