stations from other broadcast groups, for weekday runs starting fall 2009.

SVU has been sold to the Fox owned-and-operated
stations in New York, Los Angeles Chicago, Dallas, Washington D.C., Houston,
Phoenix, Minneapolis, Orlando and Baltimore. Additionally, the drama has been

Local TV and more. Law & Order: Special Victims Unit has been sold in 18 of the nation's top 20
markets.

Frank Cicha, the senior VP
of programming at Fox Television Stations, said: "We've been very pleased
with Law & Order: Criminal Intent in our Monday-Friday lineups as it's ushered in the return of hour
dramas to strip syndication. Given SVU's powerful presence on weekends and in prime time, we're confident it
will work as a great counter program for us."

Added Barry Wallach, the
president of NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution: "Law &
Order: Special Victims Unit

continues to be one of the highest-rated prime-time dramas on TV and it's a
bona fide hit in weekend broadcast syndication this season. SVU is a successful brand with both viewers and
advertisers alike and it will undoubtedly make for a great
Monday-through-Friday series for local broadcasters starting in 2009."

Currently in its ninth
season on NBC, Law & Order: SVU continues to be the number one crime drama on network television among
women and adults 18 to 34, and second among women and adults 18 to 49,
according to Nielsen Media Research data. In the recently completed February
sweep, SVU's weekend syndicated
runs have improved time periods by more than 40 percent in both households and
adults 25 to 54 (vs. February 2007) and more than 50 percent in women 25 to 54.

The series chronicles the
life and crimes of the Special Victims Unit of the New York Police Department,
following Detective Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni), a seasoned veteran of
the unit who has seen it all, and his partner, Detective Olivia Benson (Mariska
Hargitay), whose difficult past is the reason she joined the unit. Law &
Order: Special Victims Unit
is a
Wolf Films production in association with Universal Media Studios. Dick Wolf is
creator and executive producer, Neal Baer (NBC's ER, China Beach), Ted Kotcheff (Fun with Dick and Jane, Weekend at Bernie's) and Peter Jankowski are executive producers.
