NATPE Spotlight: Eccho Rights

MIAMI: Gonul, the story of a strong woman who is able to stand up and fight for her happiness, is a top title for Eccho Rights at NATPE, along with several other Turkish dramas.

“We believe that buyers, and especially audiences, are looking for interesting and strong stories, no matter the country of origin,” says Barbora Susterova, Eccho Rights’s sales and acquisition director for Latin America and Iberia.

Also being showcased are Karadayi, a classic drama about honor and family values, and Kacak.

“We have over 1,000 broadcasting hours already dubbed in Spanish, so we believe we will be able to secure more sales for these titles shortly,” Susterova says. “We would also like to find a Spanish-language title to include in our catalogue for 2016.”

In regards to the company’s mission for NATPE, Susterova says that the “goal is to constantly build our relationships with buyers, find new business opportunities and represent our titles and producers in the best way possible.”
