NATPE Confirms New Layout

LOS ANGELES: NATPE has confirmed the changes to its exhibitor setup for 2010, with at least four more floors of suites available at THEhotel and the nixing of the convention hall show floor in favor of using ballrooms at the Mandalay Bay.

In an email to exhibitors, NATPE’s president and CEO, Rick Feldman, noted: "NATPE ’09 was very successful but it fell in the center of a turbulent economic storm and the effects on all of us are still being felt. In response to these realities, we’ve made some changes for NATPE 2010."

Set for Monday, January 25 to Wednesday, January 27, NATPE 2010 will feature at least four additional floors of exhibition suites for companies at THEhotel. The show floor, meanwhile, will move from the large convention hall to ballrooms at the Mandalay Bay, "which brings the floor and the suites closer together," Feldman said. "This configuration will limit the size of the floor and will facilitate the need for acting a bit more quickly."
