NATPE Budapest has lined up several new initiatives for its upcoming June event, including screenings from NBCUniversal, MGM, Twentieth Century Fox, Lionsgate, CBS and Warner Bros.

The conference lineup includes features “Success in Co-Productions: Maximizing Your Regional and International Business Partnerships” and “A World of Formats: Insights and Strategies for Global Distribution.” The event will also introduce an expanded networking service, targeted buyers’ sessions and a regional producers’ summit all designed to foster new business and stimulate creative discussions and partnerships.

The conference has arranged “Business Intelligence”’ sessions this year: “Opening the Window on CEE” and “CEE Market Overview: Regional Breakout Hits, Trends and Data”—outlining CEE buyers’ programming needs and unveiling current trends from across the region. These presentations will take place on Monday, June 19, ahead of the opening of the market floor on June 20.

JP Bommel, the president and CEO of NATPE, commented, “We are very excited to build on our successful return to Budapest and have the opportunity to not only showcase fresh content from around the world but also highlight the incredibly powerful content from the CEE region. NATPE is proud to offer new initiatives designed to ensure delegates get the most from the event—from setting the scene with our opening Business Intelligence sessions to offering local producers the chance to discover more about the international market. NATPE Budapest is also a fantastic opportunity for networking with focused sessions and a number of parties, bringing the content and platform communities together at the epicenter of the CEE region.”
