Nat Geo Digital Motion Names New Account Manager

WASHINGTON, October 1: Ron Gloff has been appointed account
manager at National Geographic Digital Motion, the stock footage service of
National Geographic Digital Media.

Based in Los Angeles, Gloff will be responsible for
licensing content to entertainment clients in the film, television and museum
industries. He will manage client relations in the western U.S. and western
Canada, and will report to John Brosnan, the director of North American sales.

Gloff joins Nat Geo Digital Motion from a stint as senior
account executive at Corbis Motion, where he maintained and grew the client
base within the company’s California region.

"Ron's extensive experience with licensing content is a
valuable asset to National Geographic Digital Motion's sales team and to our
list of prominent entertainment clients in the western region," said
Jocelyn Shearer, the VP of video licensing and archive management. "As a
leading provider of wildlife, science and progressive cultural footage, we are
continuously expanding the reach of our content to new markets. With Ron on
board, we are better able to expand our client relationships and answer the
demand for best-in-class, nonfiction footage."
