MySpace Launches Online Film Channel

LONDON, November 6: In the U.K., MySpace has launched
Trailer Park, a new online film channel that will allow film promoters to post
trailers for upcoming releases and interact directly with fans.

Twentieth Century Fox has already signed on to showcase the
trailer for the film Lions For Lambs on
Trailer Park, ahead of the nationwide release on November 9.

Located at www.myspace.com/trailerparkuk, trailers featured
on the channel will receive editorial support across MySpace including featured
profile and video exclusive slots on the U.K. home page and traffic drivers
across the site.

Users will also be able to access release information and
click through to official sites and MySpace profiles. Additionally, they will
be able to upload the trailer onto their own personal profiles and forward it
to their friends.

James Fabricant, the director of entertainment and head of
video for MySpace Europe, commented: “MySpace is a fantastic destination for
film companies to connect with fans before a movie appears on the big screen.
Trailer Park allows filmmakers to inject trailers into MySpace’s networked
community and use this to increase impact on release weekend.”
