My Damn Channel Gets Branded Network on Yahoo! Video

NEW YORK, August 25: Entertainment studio and new-media
platform My Damn Channel has secured a syndication partnership to feature
original content on a branded network on Yahoo! Video.

My Damn Channel helps filmmakers, actors, comedians,
musicians and athletes to co-produce, distribute and monetize original
short-form video across multiple platforms. The company controls distribution
on its own site and has syndication deals in place with outlets such as
YouTube, MySpace, iMeem and Dailymotion. In its first year of operation, My
Damn Channel has produced more than 345 original videos, with the support of
brands such as Lincoln, Universal Pictures, Lionsgate, Southern Comfort, Puma
and HBO.

My Damn Channel’s founder and CEO, Rob Barnett, said,
"Our community of video fans, advertisers and syndicators is growing
strong. Yahoo! Video is an important new way to get in front of millions more
and to find out how many Yahoo! fans suck…at photoshop."
