MuchMusic Launches VOD Broadband MuchAXS

TORONTO, June 29: Canadian
music station, MuchMusic, introduced MuchAXS an on-demand broadband video content provider.

MuchAXS is an online community where fans discover,
program and recommend music. Strong emphasis will be placed on showcasing
Canadian music video chart-toppers alongside other world-class hitmakers.
It also features full-length editions of marquee Much franchises and a
choice line up of exclusive, uncut classics – featuring
internationally-renowned artists and celebrities – culled from MuchMusic's
extensive archives. MuchAXS
will grow continuously with plans to launch new MuchOriginal online series
along with the addition of more MuchMusic-produced TV shows.

Available to 99 percent of
all web users, the service allows fans to customize playlists and download ring
tones. Among the service’s exclusive are: the live performance/Q&A program,
Intimate & Interactive with Billy Talent and Close Encounters With, which has fans meeting and interviewing
musicians.
