More Globo Novelas to Hit Uruguay

SÃO PAULO: Cat’s Cradle (Cuna de Gato), a telenovela distributed by Globo TV International, is to premiere on the Teledoce channel in Uruguay on August 1, following the channel’s success with Seize the Day (Vivir la Vida).

Cat’s Cradle has done well in Latin America and sold to more than 15 countries. The drama will air at 6 p.m. and stars Camila Pitanga (Tropical Paradise), Marcos Palmeira (Port of Miracles), Paola Oliveira (The Prophet) and Carmo Dalla Vecchia (The Favorite). It focuses on a love triangle and deals with issues in modern society.

Seize the Day, which premiered in May on Teledoce and currently takes the 6 p.m. time slot, will move to 7 p.m. The story, starring Alinne Moraes from Shades of Sin, is about a young model who must overcome quadriplegia after suffering a terrible accident.
