MIPCOM to Host New Conference Program Focused on OTT & Digital

PARIS: MIPCOM 2015 will feature the brand-new conference program Into the Stream, which is meant to address the changing global video ecosystem and content distribution strategies across all platforms.

Daily sessions and keynotes will explore the digital transformation of traditional broadcasting groups. Giorgio Stock, the president for EMEA at Turner Broadcasting System; Amanda Hill, the chief creative officer for international at A+E Networks; Sharon Tal Yguado, the executive VP of scripted programming and original development at FOX International Channels; and Ziba Kaboli-Gerbrands, the director of content acquisition at Roku, are those taking part in the Into the Stream panels.

On Tuesday, October 6, the Carriage Deal Forum: Channels Everywhere will offer a full-day program focusing on territorial expansion strategies. The day will also include matchmaking sessions for one-to-one meetings between platforms, OTT services and channels.

The following day, October 7, MIPCOM will host the OTT and Global TV Channel Strategy Summit, a closed-door event aimed at facilitating networking between multiservice operators, OTT platforms, channels, streaming services and media groups.
