Michael Rodriguez Upped at Telemundo

NEW YORK, November 15:
Michael Rodriguez has been promoted to senior VP of sales for Telemundo,
replacing Steve Mandala, who was recently named the executive VP of cable ad
sales for NBC Universal.

In his new role,
effective immediately, Rodriguez will be responsible for the sales and
marketing efforts for the Telemundo network, its Spanish-language cable
channel, mun2, and their digital properties. He will report to Mike Pilot, the
president of sales and marketing for NBC Universal.

Prior to his promotion,
Rodriguez was the VP and general manager of WSCV, the Telemundo
owned-and-operated television station in Miami. Before that, Rodriguez spent
five years as the local sales manager at WFOR, the CBS television station in
Miami. His previous sales experience includes roles at both the Hispanic
Broadcasting Company and the Spanish Broadcasting System.
