MGM Channel Expands to Vodafone Mobile Users

LOS ANGELES, July 25: The
MGM Channel, currently available to pay-TV subscribers across German-speaking
Europe, is now accessible to mobile subscribers through Vodafone in Germany.

Vodafone made the
German-language version of the channel available on its 3G Vodafone Live! network
in Germany as of June 1.

Following a soft launch
last month, the channel features movies from the MGM library. Vodafone 3G
customers will be able to view films from the Pink Panther and Rocky franchises as well as The Thomas Crown Affair, Terminator, Man in the Iron Mask
and Robocop, among other
titles.

Bruce Tuchman, the
executive VP of MGM Networks at MGM Studios, said: “This is a breakthrough deal
that allows us to expand our distribution of The MGM Channel in a very exciting
