LOS ANGELES: MarVista Entertainment has acquired the global distribution rights to a 66-title international library from Osiris Entertainment, which it is presenting at the American Film Market.

The deal includes existing catalogue titles and new productions. Among the titles covered in the agreement are the coming-of-age drama Along the Roadside, the drama The Kill Hole, the horror feature The Lake on Clinton Road, the teen comedy Clinger and the comedy feature Hollywood Trash.

“Buyer demand for movies across all genres continues to grow around the world, especially with the continued proliferation of digital and SVOD platforms,” said Vanessa Shapiro, the executive VP of distribution at MarVista Entertainment. “This demand has led to an increase in our own production of original films, in addition to adding quality movies from other companies, and the diverse offerings in Osiris Entertainment’s catalogue complement our own titles very well. We look forward to representing both the existing titles in the catalogue, plus new productions.”

“Over the past nine years we have carefully curated a vast library of quality, commercial, independent feature films for global distribution,” added Evan Crooke, the CEO of Osiris Entertainment. “As we move our focus into theatrical productions, we are excited to have found a great partner in MarVista Entertainment, which has a solid distribution team in place to continue to ensure that our films reach viewers around the world."
