MarVista Lands European, Asian Agreements

LOS ANGELES, October 9: A host of international broadcasters
have picked up titles from MarVista Entertainment in the run-up to MIPCOM.

In Central and Eastern Europe, MarVista licensed a six-movie
package to Poland’s Telewizja Polska. Titles include Hidden Camera, which stars Dean Cain as a reporter who launches an
international investigation into the mysterious death of his brother; NYC
Tornado Terror
, an action-disaster movie; Deadly
Pledge
, starring Gossip Girl’s Leighton Meester; and Behind the Wall, about a young woman who returns to the place where
her mother was murdered. Romania’s Kanal D took on the prime-time series Beyond
the Break
, a MarVista co-production with
MTV Networks’ The N and Brookwell McNamara.

HBO Asia also picked up Behind the Wall and Hidden Camera, while South Korea’s Orion Cinema Network took on Absolute
Zero
, NYC Tornado Terror and Hidden Camera to air on Catch ON and OCN cable networks.
