Martha Stewart Inks DIY Deal

NEW YORK/KNOXVILLE, July
31: Scripps Networks’ DIY Network has signed a deal with Martha Stewart Living
Omnimedia (MSLO) that brings a crafts series featuring the domestic diva to the
channel this November.

Martha Stewart Crafts is a new half-hour "best of" compilation
series featuring how-to segments in the areas of scrapbooking, hand-made gifts,
paper cards, decoupage, glittering, framing, rubber-stamping and more. Set to
premiere November 22, the initial 39 episodes will be comprised of thematic
content culled from over a decade of content from MSLO's original lifestyle TV
series Martha Stewart Living.

"Crafting is more
than a series of how-to projects," said Kathleen Finch, the general manager
of DIY. "For many of our viewers, it's a way of life, a way of connecting
the dots among their friends, families and loved ones. Martha Stewart is
synonymous with the world of crafting and we feel very privileged to have her
join the DIY Network family just in time for holiday celebrations around the
country."

Stewart added: "DIY
is a like-minded partner, a television network that understands crafting and
our continuing fascination with and appreciation for inspiring do-it-yourself
projects. I am delighted that this new partnership rekindles our business
relationship with the Scripps family of cable networks and look forward to a
long and mutually beneficial relationship in the years to come."
