Management Changes at S-VOX

TORONTO: Peter Miller has stepped down as the COO of Canada’s S-VOX, the parent company of VisionTV, with Mark Prasuhn, the company’s chief content officer, adding that role to his mandate.

Miller joined S-VOX a year ago and led the integration of the former Rogers OMNI over-the air television stations in Vancouver and Winnipeg (now known as Joytv), as well as internal operations restructuring efforts. An S-VOX statement said Miller has left to pursue other opportunities.

Mark Prasuhn, chief content officer, will serve as COO while maintaining his existing responsibilities for content across all S-VOX properties and platforms. He was previously COO of S-VOX from November 2001 to May 2008. Jane Macnaughton, CFO, will add operational and strategic planning responsibilities to her portfolio. In addition, Terry E. Markus, general counsel and board secretary for S-VOX, will be promoted to the new role of executive VP and general counsel, with responsibility for legal, business affairs and regulatory operations. She will also lead certain business development initiatives, reporting to CEO Bill Roberts.

S-VOX specializes in television and digital content about spiritual awareness and personal growth. Its assets include VisionTV, a multi-faith and multicultural television broadcaster, One: the Body, Mind & Spirit channel and the Joytv local stations in Vancouver and Winnipeg.
