CULVER CITY: The Millennial-targeted MCN Maker Studios has brought in writer and director Luke Hyams to serve as head of international content.

Based in Maker's London office, Hyams will be reporting to René Rechtman, the head of international. His remit sees him working to develop new formats for global distribution, as well as driving the development of original programming alongside commercial partners.

Hyams joins Maker from the Beijing-based agency PAE Media. His production credits include Channel 4's youth-skewed Dubplate Drama and Glue. He is also behind the feature film X Moor and the YouTube-commissioned digital series Bitchcraft.
