M6 Reports Revenue Gains

PARIS, February 1: The M6 Group has reported a 15.5 percent
increase in fourth quarter revenues and an 18.8 percent gain in full-year
revenues.

For the quarter, revenues were 360.5 million euros, with M6
channel advertising up 4.2 percent to 180.1 million euros and other revenues up
29.5 percent to 180.4 million euros.

For the year, revenues totaled 1.3 billion euros, with
channel advertising rising just 3.9 percent to 649.7 million euros and other
income jumping 39.4 percent to 633.7 million euros. The boost in other revenues
came from M6’s digital channels, where revenues were up 17 percent to 75.6
million euros, as well as “diversification and audiovisual rights activities,”
the company said.

The French broadcasting group said M6’s audience share was
stable from the prior yet at 12.5 percent.
