LONDON: Dating in the Dark has received a second-season order from LIVING in the U.K., and has already been slated for another run in the U.S. on ABC.

The show watches as singles meet and get to know each other, all in total darkness. The series had a strong first outing on LIVING, with the total reach of the entire show garnering 3.2 million viewers.

Nick Samwell-Smith, the creative director of Initial, an Endemol company, commented: “We’re delighted to be making another series of Dating in the Dark for Living. This time round we’ll be upping the ante in every way, and delivering a whole new range of funny, touching and surprising treats to the audience.”

Mark Sammon, the head of commissioning at Virgin Media Television, said: “We’re absolutely thrilled that this award winning, unique entertainment series will be returning to LIVING. Dating in the Dark has surpassed expectations and continues to engage with viewers with its bold creativity.”
