Lionsgate Takes U.S. DVD Rights to Little House on the Prairie

SANTA MONICA, February 21: Lionsgate has reached a deal with
Imavision Distribution for the exclusive U.S. home entertainment distribution
rights to the classic family drama Little House on the Prairie.

The agreement provides Lionsgate with the rights to all 208
episodes of the four-time Emmy Award-winning series that aired on NBC from
1974-1983. The DVDs thus far have sold 2 million copies. The first releases
from Lionsgate are expected to be available at retail this April.

The deal also covers U.S. home entertainment rights to
Imavision's library of more than 30 titles including three volumes of Jerry
Springer Uncut
and Game Show

slate also includes the telenovelas La Hija del Jardinero, Mirada de Mujer, Catalina & Sebastian and Cuando Seas Mia, boosting Lionsgate's Spanish-language offerings.
