Lionsgate Ends Listing on Toronto Stock Exchange

SANTA MONICA, August 2: Lionsgate
has elected to delist from the Toronto Stock Exchange as a result of low
trading volume.

The delisting, effective
July 31, 2006, allows the studio to avoid the costs associated with multiple
exchange listings. Lionsgate has traded on the New York Stock Exchange under
the ticker symbol LGF since August 2004, providing the primary source of its
trading volume.
