Leopard Secures Further Commissions from HGTV

NEW YORK, August 21: HGTV has ordered two new series from
Leopard Films USA, including an extension of its hit home-improvement series Hidden
Potential
.

The new strand, Hidden Potential @ Home, is schedule to launch on HGTV in September. The
13×30-minute series shows homeowners three different design
solutions—using 3-D graphics—that help make their home function
better or solve a design problem. Once a design has been selected, the
construction team goes to work and the finished product is revealed in the
final act of the show.

Also commissioned by HGTV, Dear Genevieve features designer Genevieve Gorder offering
down-to-earth advice to real people with questions. The 26×30-minute series
will make its debut in January 2009.

Leopard USA’s VP of programming, Nick Rigg, commented: “This
round of new commissions is fantastic news for us as we continue to grow in the
lifestyle genre. To be able to take one of our most successful shows, Hidden
Potential
, and adapt it in exciting new
ways is a testament to the format and its popularity. We’re also thrilled to be
working with Genevieve Gorder—in just 2 weeks we had over 40,000
applicants to be on the show—she brings real star power and a genuine
connection to homeowners and viewers alike.”

The CEO of Leopard Films, James
Burstall, added: Leopard Films is going from strength to strength in the
U.S. and we are delighted to be building on our slate of programs. The U.S.
market is thriving and we're proud to be developing long-standing relationships
with our valued colleagues such as Scripps Networks. The reason we are busy is
that we are working very hard, we're developing a wide range of innovative new
projects and we are actively pursuing our ethical transparent business model,
which is resonating in the U.S.”
