LATV Picks Up New Animated Comedy Series

LOS ANGELES, November 8: The Hispanic-targeted LATV Network,
the first bilingual music/entertainment digital multicast network in the U.S.,
has picked up Over-Man Productions’ animated comedy series Caesar and Chuy, which premieres today at 9:30 p.m.

Caesar and Chuy are
animated rockers and music-video critics. Artistic Warfare and Alfonso Arney
Designs teamed up as Over-Man Productions to produce the new animated series,
which is executive produced by Keu Reyes and Alfonso Arney. Reyes will also
voice the character of Caesar, and Rick Najera, the VP of programming
development at LATV, will voice the role of Chuy.

This is the second animated series in LATV's original
programming block. LATV's first foray into animation was the stop-motion
one-hour program The Homies Hip-Hop Show,
based on the popular figurines created by Dave Gonzales.

Najera commented: "Our viewers look to us for edgy and
fun programming, reflecting the bicultural and bilingual experience in America.
Caesar and Chuy provides exactly
that—an irreverent slice-of-life commentary that is classic LATV. This
series is funny, top-notch and very on-the-mark. We certainly think it will
connect with our audience nationwide."
