Latin Deals for Chorion’s Olivia

LONDON/NEW YORK: Chorion has appointed two new licensing agents in Latin America for its hit preschool property Olivia.

Tycoon Enterprises is to represent the licensing and merchandising rights for Olivia in Mexico, Central America (Guatemala, Belize, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama), Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Chile, Peru and the Caribbean Islands. International Merchandising Consultants (IMC) will be handling Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Bolivia. Olivia is currently on air throughout Latin America on Disney Channel and both agents will be representing the TV tie-in product for the brand.

Robert Traub, the senior VP of licensing for the Americas at Chorion, said: “Olivia is proving to be a successful show in Latin America and we are thrilled to bring on board both Tycoon and IMC who have a great track record in the region. We look forward to working closely with them to develop Olivia consumer products for these territories.”
