Las Vegas Creator Has Two New Dramas in the Works

LOS ANGELES, September 21:
Gary Scott Thompson, the creator of the NBC drama Las Vegas, is working on two new dramas, one for CBS and the
other for NBC.

According to the Hollywood
Reporter, Protect and Serve for CBS is an ensemble drama about street cops in
Los Angeles. The project has received a script commitment from the network.

The show for NBC project
has also received a script commitment. It is set in Hawaii and centers on a
former cop who, after losing his family in the World Trade Center attacks,
follows his ex-wife to the 50th state.
