Koonin Upped at Turner

ATLANTA, October 25: Steve Koonin, who oversees TNT and TBS,
has been tapped to fill the newly created post of president of Turner
Entertainment Networks, adding TCM and Court TV to his mandate.

Reporting to Koonin are Marc Juris, Court TV’s GM of
programming and marketing; Marlene Dann, Court TV’s EVP of daytime and news
programming; and Tom Karsch, TCM’s EVP and GM. Koonin is based in Atlanta and
reports to Mark Lazarus, the president of the Turner Entertainment Group.

Koonin most recently served as EVP and COO of TBS and TNT.
He came to the company in February 2000.
