Kim Cattrall Joins MIPCOM Lineup

PARIS, September 28: Former Sex and the City cast member Kim Cattrall will be at MIPCOM to
promote the new ITV drama My Boy Jack, joining a growing list
of celebrities slated to appear in Cannes next month.

The British-born Cattrall starred in the new television
drama My Boy Jack, an Ecosse Films, WGBH
Boston, and Ingenious Broadcasting co-production for ITV in association with
Octagon Films and Granada International. Adapted by David Haig from his
original play, My Boy Jack tells
the tale of Rudyard Kipling's son Jack and his efforts to join the army in
World War I, despite having poor eyesight. Kim Cattrall plays Jack's mother,
Caroline 'Carrie' Kipling, with David Haig in the role of Rudyard Kipling and Harry
Potter
star Daniel Radcliffe as Jack.

The other international personalities slated to appear at
MIPCOM include Australian actress Gia Carides, best known for her starring role
in My Big Fat Greek Wedding, who will
present her new drama series East of Everything. Gloria Perez, a renowned writer of telenovelas,
will introduce her new ecological mini-series Amazonia. Young British clairvoyant Lisa Williams will
promote her TV show Lisa Williams: Life Among the Dead. Actors John Nettles and Jason Hughes from the
British drama series Midsomer Murders will be on hand to celebrate 10 years of the series at MIPCOM. British
actor and musician Max Beesley, best known for his starring role in Hotel
Babylon
, will present the new thriller The Last
Enemy
, and the French writer Marc Lévy,
whose novel Just like Heaven was
acquired by Steven Spielberg, will introduce the new series Will You
be There
, adapted from his book

. On October 10, the third edition of
the MIPCOM Mobile & Internet TV Awards will be hosted by British showman
Brian Conley.
