Kleberg also joins the TV4 Group management team.

TV4 Group’s CEO, Jan Scherman, commented: "Under Jonas Eriksson’s leadership, Canal+ has been successfully coordinated with the rest of the TV4 Group, and has strengthened its position as the leading premium TV company in the Nordic region. We are now entering the next phase, where it is important to maintain the momentum as we develop Canal+’s range of products and services in its national markets, thereby generating increased revenues. With his extensive experience in the field of television, within the TV4 Group and as COO of Canal+ in the Nordic region, Johan Kleberg is particularly well suited to lead this process."

Kleberg added: "Premium TV is growing throughout Europe and is an increasingly important part of the TV industry. I am looking forward tremendously to the challenge of leading and developing Canal+ as market leader in Nordic pay-TV. Our new country managers will enable us to further strengthen our sales and marketing in Norway and Sweden."

Jonas said: "It has been an enormously enjoyable and instructive time at Canal+, and the experience I have gained will be of great use to me within the Bonnier Group. I wish Johan the very best in his new position, and am convinced that there is no-one better suited than him to drive Canal+ forward."
