Jeffrey Katzenberg Invests in Drone Entertainment Company

Jeffrey Katzenberg’s WndrCo has made an investment in Nova Sky Stories, the drone entertainment company led by Kimbal Musk.

Katzenberg will join Nova Sky as a strategic advisor, sitting on the board and working closely with Musk, co-founder and CEO, to lead the company’s next stage of growth.

WndrCo’s strategic investment will be used to expand Nova Sky Stories’ studio of animators and storytellers. Nova bills itself as a pioneer in “sky-based entertainment” with its long-form “Sky Stories”, powered by drone technology and fusing light, music and motion. Katzenberg will help to scale this new form of live storytelling creatively and globally.

“I’ve spent a lifetime telling stories on every kind of screen you can imagine, and now I’m excited to help Nova explore the newest canvas for branded family entertainment: the sky,” said Katzenberg.

Nova will debut its first co-developed Sky Story with Katzenberg in 2026. The large-scale public experience is to be announced later this year.
