Jaman.com, BBC Worldwide America in Online Distribution Deal

SAN MATEO, April 14: Movie
portal Jaman.com has acquired a selection of films from BBC Worldwide America
for online distribution, including Face to Face with Sir Ian McKellen, featuring an in-depth interview with the
award-winning Oscar-nominated actor.

Among the other titles
picked up from BBC Worldwide America are: Abortion Ship, following Dutch doctor Rebecca Gomperts, the
founder of Women on Waves, an activist group that transports women from
countries where abortion is illegal into international waters so they can have
a free and legal abortion under Dutch law; Dowry Law, a documentary that explores dowry crime in India
and how women are fighting back; and Nervous Energy, centered on a young man struggling to come to
terms with the fact he's dying of AIDS. Rounding out the slate is When I'm
64
, focused on two men who were
both in their twenties and living in very different worlds during Beatlemania.
Now 64, their paths cross for the first time and in the reflection of their
lives, a friendship grows between them as they reveal things about themselves
that they have never spoken to others about.

"Jaman is very
pleased to expand our library with this selection from the BBC, one of the most
prestigious producers of content that entertains, informs and educates,"
said Gaurav Dhillon, the founder and CEO of Jaman. "This collection of
critically acclaimed, award-winning work is representative of Jaman's
commitment to bring the best content to our global community, many of whom may
have limited access to these works."
