ION President, COO Steps Down

WEST PALM BEACH, October 24: Dean M. Goodman has stepped down as the president
and COO of ION Media Networks, which operates the i network (formerly PAX TV),
as well as from the board of directors, “to pursue other interests,” the company said.

“In his tenure with the
company, Dean was instrumental in assembling the country’s largest group of
full-power television stations, including stations in all of the top 20 U.S.
markets,” said CEO Brandon Burgess. “He also led our stations through a digital
build-out, which positions us well for the digital broadcast transition.”

The company is not seeking
a replacement for Goodman, whose responsibilities will be assumed by other
members of senior management.
