International Sales at Tricon

TORONTO: Tricon Films & Television has sold more than 200 hours from across its catalogue to a range of international broadcasters, including HBO Central Europe and Globosat in Brazil.

CSC Media Group of the U.K. went for kids’ programming such as seasons one through three of The Next Star for its Pop Girl channel. CSC also picked up GRRtv for Kix.

The first two seasons of Marriage Under Construction were snapped up by Non Stop Television in Scandinavia. House of Bryan sold to First HDTV in Russia, which also scooped up the sports-adventure series Motorhead Traveler, PWCtv, Sledsense and MX Culture, as well as Life’s a Trip. Red Media Group of Russia acquired Fresh with Anna Olson, Tanlines, Camp N’ Out and Forbidden Science.

The doc feature Rush: Beyond the Lighted Stage went to Globosat in Brazil. Chemerical was sold to Ushuaïa tv in France. Garbage was acquired by VEA in Australia, along with Edge Codes. The doc Murid is headed to YES-DBS in Israel.

The Story of Furious Pete, meanwhile was sold to Planete No Limit in France, Canal +/Kuchnia TV in Poland, HBO Central Europe and YES-DBS in Israel.
