MEXICO CITY: Indonesia is set to premiere a localized version of Azteca’s interactive talent show format La Academia Kids.

The show’s first episode is due out today on free-to-air network SCTV. The competition is slated to run for 15 weeks and will feature 30-minute daily shows chronicling 18 young contestants, with a live elimination concert every Saturday. Additionally, the show will follow the everyday lives of the children as they work within a boarding-school regimen to improve their musical and dancing skills.

The original La Academia Kids launched in Mexico in 2013.
