In-Flight Sales for Tricon Films & Television

TORONTO: Tricon Films & Television has sold select titles from its programming catalogue to airlines around the world as in-flight entertainment.

Spafax picked up the IFC comedies The Birthday Boys and Maron for Air Canada and the Spoils of Babylon for Air Lufthansa. Air Canada will also get Donut Showdown and Innovation Lab, with Spafax nabbing Innovation Lab for Cathay Pacific as well.

Additional IFC acquisitions include AV Jet’s Transasia Airways taking Comedy Bang! Bang! and Inflight Productions’ Air New Zealand and Thai Airways picking up The Spoils of Babylon. Inflight Productions also bought PIVOT’s HitRecord on TV! for Etihad Airways and Qatar Airways, and Inocente… for the latter airline. AV Jet took Extreme Collectors for Eva Air.

On Board International went with the factual series A Birth of a Car, Game Changers, Restaurant Takeover, Now Eat This, Get Connected, Mark It, Born 2 Run, Extreme Collectors, GRR TV and On the Spot for Saudi Air. Final sales include AMP International taking Decked Out for Air Transat and Interact Productions scooping up Spice Goddess for Malindo & Batik Air.
